We are incredibly excited to announce that the 2026 MCGC Championships will be held in East Lansing at MSU’s Breslin Center!
Plan Your Trip
It’s not too soon to start planning your trip! The Lansing Sports Commission has generously put together a list of hotels, restaurants, and more to help maximize your experience and streamline your preparation. Visit their MCGC event page below to get started.
Fan Favorite Awards
Be on the lookout at Championships for a QR code to scan with your phone so that you can vote for your favorite performance. Fan Favorites from each class will receive special recognition, separate from their score. This will be a fun way to recognize even more creativity and talent within our circuit. Voting opens on March 28.
Volunteer of the Year
MCGC wants to honor all participants in our activity, especially the ones who take on background roles so that the performers can shine. Volunteer of the Year seeks to recognize all the “band dads,” seamstress moms, and all the other volunteers that get our units down the road. Nominations will be taken, evaluated by a small committee, and then three winners will be recognized at MCGC State Championships, one for each awards ceremony. Nominees will also receive a certificate so that they know their unit nominated them and appreciate all the hard work they do! Nominations are due by March 11, 2026
Unit Staff
Comprehensive event information is available for unit staff in the Championships Packet. Please visit Competition Suite and visit the resource section to access the packet. It will not be published publicly.
Championships Volunteers
Units are asked to provide either two (2) adult volunteers to assist with Championships in a variety of necessary tasks, or pay an opt-out fee. The deadline to either submit volunteer information or pay the opt-out fee is March 1.
Vendor Application
Those individuals or organizations interested in having a vendor booth at MCGC State Championships should fill out the Vendor Form below.
This form is a fillable PDF, meaning you can type all of your information into the form using a PDF reader, and then print the completed form to send with payment. The total dollar amount is not auto-fill. Completing all sections of this form will help with vendor layout, and getting your publicity to the announcer. Additional wristbands are not available with the form, but can be purchased through mcgc.net. More information on that is in the form.
Payment can be made online. Please read the "I have paid online" instructions for the online payment form, and make sure you email the completed form after finishing online payment. Please send any questions related to vendors to Mackenzie Seibel at champsmcgc@gmail.com.
